What: Bring in old sneakers and athletic footwear (including cleats) to raise money and sustainability credits. GotSneakers? restores useable shoes and donates them to persons in need or recycles old shoes at the end of their lifecycle into new products such as tracks and playground surfaces. *Athletic footwear only, please; NO sandals, heels, boots, and dress shoes as they cannot be recycled.
Where: A sneaker collection bag is located near the cubbies.
When: The drive begins now. Bring in your shoes and place them in the collection bag over the next few weeks.
Why: This program supports our 2021 TRUE Zero Waste sustainability goals.
