Competition once a week for five weeks is intense no matter how hard you try to make it not be. We all workout hard year round and are a bunch of fit folks however over the next few weeks the stress, anticipation, output, leader-boarding, and celebration has the potential to take it out of us all. In order to combat the Open we all need to remember how important sleep, hydration, ice, and solid nutrition can be. Spending the remainder of Saturday and all day Sunday drinking and eating poorly will take it's toll. Be sure to relax and spend some time doing non CrossFit things but take good care of yourself, is going to be critical.
