CrossFit's definition of fitness is: work capacity across broad time and modal domains.  Each workout we do provides us with a snap shot into your fitness.  If we look at our performance in our workouts over the years we can get a good look at our health.  Our aim is to continue to increase your work capacity for as long as possible and then maintain that capacity for as long as we can.  Pushing back the margins of decrepitude.
