Two months ago roughly 40 people took a gamble and entered the Improvement Pool competition.  The aim of this pool is to further increase each athletes work capacity across broad time and modal domains through a competitive pool. Each entrant signed up, submitted $10 and competed in 6 "Test WoDs".

Starting January 7th these same athletes will be re-tested to see who has improved the most.  The improvement is relative to the same athletes previous effort.  For example, let's say  WoD A involved a set amount of work, and Athlete X's first effort was 25 minutes. Now in January, Athlete X completes the same WoD in 20 minutes. This would be an improvement of 20%.
