Eyes up is a cue we sometimes use to get athletes to keep their head in good position. Looking at the ground can pull you forward and looking up at the ceiling is also not a desired position, a neutral spine is what we are after. Head position is important in weightlifting, sprinting and gymnastics so CrossFitters better practice getting the head in the right spot.
