The DIY Food Adventure technically ended last week. Despite this, people have continued to cook their own food, make good choices and post to the Facebook group. Although there were no official "rules" set during this challenge about food type or quantity, people still managed to take the knowledge they already had about nutrition and applied it with great results. Tom has lost over 25 pounds, Kristy has maintained a gluten-free pregnancy and feels great, many of us are back in the "zone", and we've all benefited from the sharing of recipes and ideas. It seems that most feel the extra effort to plan and prepare our meals is worth it, so let's keep it rolling.

Announcement: We're planning a Potluck/pumpkin carve this Sunday, October 30th after the 10am class. Bring your family, a dish to share, and a pumpkin to lift carry throw carve, and let's have a good time.
