Undeniable Proof
Olivia's Raw Stats:
Weight Pre-Zone:131 pounds down to 125 pounds
Waist Pre-Zone: 30" down to 28"
Hips Pre-Zone: 38" down to 34"
Mile for Time Pre-Zone: 7:29, down to 7:10
Max Pull-ups: 13 up to 19 (She actually did two sets of 19, she wanted 20)
Max Deadlift: 183 ugly to 183 with room.
She tried 193 twice, and almost had it.
Olivia's stats are very impressive. It seems obvious that
just loosing some weight could make pull-ups or running
easier, but nothing about losing weight makes a deadlift
lighter. What our little Zone challenged shows is that the
combination of CrossFit and the Zone makes humans faster,
lighter, stronger and more agile beings.
No fancy machines, no expensive pills, no contracts to sign,
just eat well (really well) and train hard (CrossFit). The friends,
the pain and laughter, the self confidence; they are
just some of the side effects.

Thank you for hosting the Burpee Challenge. I cant tell you what a response we have gotten just with Crossfit 801 athletes. We are stoked and apprihensive all at the same time but its all in the name of being better faster stronger and an overall better crossfitter. Thanks again

Wow, Olivia! You did an incredible job and have seen some inspiring improvement! Excellent work! You are always the one to try to keep up with when we work out together. You push me to work harder and faster just to keep up!
And nicely put, Hollis. When it comes down to it, nutrition and exercise must be paramount in our lives. They set the foundation.

Great work Olivia!! Those are some really great gains. I'm so happy to see so much improvement from so many members of our gym. It really does just go to prove the point that the zone challenge was a great idea. Keep up the hard work and keep zoning!!

Olivia - you are an inspiration!
I'm in for the Burpee Challenge Mallee. I started a day late but I'll make up the 1 tonight :)
I'm in town for a few hours to resupply then back on trail tonight. Such inspirational posts to catch up on! Congratulations to all who did so well with the zone challenge.
I miss y'all and look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks :)

Great work Olivia! You have impressed me from the first time I worked out with you and you continue to do so!
Heather, I'll count you in on the Challenge and be safe out there. Have fun!

Props, Olivia!! Keep up the awesome work.
On another, totally random, note....HEATHER MAC ROCKS! I'm sure you already know that though. Even though she is out of town, she is letting me stay at her place while I attend the Level 2 Cert this weekend.
I hope that if any of you ever need anything while in San Diego, you'll let me know.
Thanks again, Heather!

heather mac does indeed ROCK! she is one of the sweetest, genuine, and giving people i know as well as a kick ass athlete/competitor. i miss her! i did a bunch of burpees today (my 5 for the challenge were in there somewhere). we were trying to do "annie" but i had some issues with our new jump rope and ended up doing burpees/sit-ups instead. so i'm ready for a mere 6 burpees tomorrow. =) i need to find another more compatible jump rope before attempting double unders again in the future...and practice, practice, practice!
olivia, you are awesome and i always enjoyed working out with you. i knew if i was keeping up with you i was doing well. i'm happy to hear that the zone is working for you and aiding your CrossFitting. keep it up! we miss all of you BIG time over here in the 505. hope to see you soon!

Wow - thanks, guys! I wasn't expecting to see my stats pasted up here ... sure wish I had lifted that $%!@#*^& 193 lbs all the way! Next time, for sure. Anyways, reading all your nice comments REALLY made my day. From day one everyone at CF-Santa Cruz has been so welcoming and supportive, and ... frankly, that inspires me more than the numbers. :)
